Our identity

Who we are

FREMNET is committed to the empowerment, protection and reintegration of female migrants, returnees and survivors of human trafficking, exploitation and other forms of abuse.

Guided by the belief that every woman deserves dignity, safety and the opportunity to rebuild, we amplify survivor voices and create pathways to healing, leadership and economic independence.

Based in Nigeria, FREMNET provides psychosocial support, capacity-building opportunities, mentorship, advocacy and community-based reintegration while collaborating with local, national and international partners.

Our distinction

What “survivor-led” means

Lived expertise informs strategy

Experience is recognised as knowledge that should influence programmes, advocacy and evaluation.

Participation is meaningful

Survivors have genuine opportunities to influence decisions and lead.

Autonomy comes first

Support expands informed choices instead of replacing one form of control with another.
