Our story

Built from lived experience and collective courage

FREMNET grew from the conviction that women affected by return migration and trafficking should not be spoken for, designed for or reduced to their past experiences.

The foundation

A platform for healing, solidarity and leadership

FREMNET creates a compassionate community where female returned migrants and survivors can access support, share knowledge, rebuild confidence and contribute to decisions that affect their lives.

The organisation recognises challenges such as stigma, isolation, re-traumatisation and vulnerability to re-exploitation, but refuses to define women only by those challenges. Its work creates pathways toward autonomy, economic opportunity, advocacy and leadership.
